WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - Bridge repairs will require overnight closures of the Union Centre Boulevard overpass at I-75.

The work will take place nightly from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. beginning Monday, November 5 and concluding Wednesday morning, November 7 weather permitting. Crews will be making repairs to the bridge approaches necessitating full closure of the overpass in both directions during the designated time periods. All ramps to and from I-75 will remain open.

Detours will be posted for all entering and exiting I-75 traffic. Eastbound Union Centre Boulevard traffic will detour south on Muhlhauser Road, east on Allen Road, and north on Cincinnati Dayton Road to west on Union Centre. Westbound traffic will reverse this route.
 

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that a resurfacing project, including cut and base repairs, will require nightly lane closures on Union Centre Boulevard between Beckett Road and Cincinnati Dayton Road beginning Tuesday, September 11.

Work will begin at 8:00 p.m. each night and continue through 5:00 a.m. the next morning. Traffic will be maintained but cones and electronic arrow boards will be in place to alert motorists of the lane closures.

The project is expected to take approximately two weeks.
 

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Butler County Engineer Greg Wilkens says his office is ready to construct its fifth major roundabout and promised that more are on the way.

Crews will begin work June 4th at the Kyles Station Road / LeSourdsville West Chester Road intersection in Liberty Township, requiring the roads there to be closed for most of the summer.  "We plan to start and complete the project while the Lakota Schools are off for summer break," Wilkens said, referring to Cherokee Elementary School which is situated on the intersection's southwest corner.
