West Chester Hospital announces New Chief Financial Officer | News

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - Jeff Drapalik has been named chief financial officer and director of finance for West Chester Hospital. He previously served as director of financial analysis/payor relations for UC Health. He begins his tenure immediately, reporting to West Chester Hospital President and CEO Kevin Joseph, MD.

Drapalik will be responsible for the overall financial management of West Chester Hospital, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and other financial functions. He will provide leadership in financial resource allocation for West Chester Hospital in support of overall UC Health system-wide financial objectives. In addition, he will oversee all financial functions of West Chester Hospital and coordination between the system-wide financial departments, including closely coordinating the front-end revenue cycle functions.

A skilled financial strategist with significant health care experience, Drapalik has served in multiple leadership positions including director of finance for Mercy Health Partners, director of finance and director of decision support services for Jewish Hospital and the Health Alliance; and as corporate director of management engineering for Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. 

Drapalik, a resident of Wilmington, OH, earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN and a master’s degree in business administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. His community involvement includes serving as a youth coach for the YMCA and for which he was named Volunteer of the Year; as well as serving as explorer post leader and assistant scout master with the Boy Scouts of America.
