LEBANON, OH (FOX19)- A suspect was arrested following a police chase and crash on Tuesday evening.

Officers caught up with vehicle on northbound I-75 near West Chester. The chase continued up 75, and off the highway onto Ohio 63.

The suspect vehicle attempted to avoid stop sticks and crash into an Ohio State Highway Patrol vehicle and came to a rest on its rooftop off the side of the road.

Speeds during the pursuit were estimated at 100 miles per hour.

The suspect, Trevon  Broomfield, of Dayton, was transported to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown for treatment. He is in serious condition. The trooper suffered minor injuries.

Charges are still pending against Broomfield, but they could include vehicle theft, felony failure to comply and several traffic offenses.
