I guess this easy recipe would be good for breakfast, if you were available to take a nap immediately following. The truth is, I usually cut this warm, creamy, sweet, and salty sandwich into quarters, top it with Fresh Whipped Cream, and serve is as a dessert. YUM.

Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church Celebrates 20 Years of Inclusion

CINCINNATI, OH) - Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church (MAPC) - one of the most progressive and inclusive churches in the Tri-state - will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of its "Policy on the Inclusion of Gays and Lesbians" on Sunday, August 14 during its 11:00 AM worship service and post-worship coffee hour. The historic church is located at 103 William Howard Taft Road, adjacent to the University of Cincinnati. Reporters / camera crews are welcome at the celebration events or pre- or post-event day interviews may be scheduled.

The celebration service will be led by MAPC's pastor, The Rev. Susan Quinn Bryan, and will include a sermon by More Light Presbyterians' (MLP) Executive Director, Michael Adee - the first openly gay man to be ordained an Elder at MAPC shortly after the adoption of its Inclusion Policy.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT TUESDAY AUGUST 2

CINCINNATI, OH(FOX 19)- Tuesday August 2 marks the 28th observance of National Night Out, and Cincinnati will join cities and towns across the country as neighbors take part in events to celebrate and strengthen their community. The Cincinnati Police Department has partnered with community groups in each of the city's five Districts to highlight crime prevention and safety. Food, music, and games add a festive spirit to the gatherings. There will be exhibits, displays and demonstrations with specialized police units and equipment.

National Night Out began in 1984 as a way for the National Association of Town Watch to increase participation in local anticrime efforts. People were encouraged to turn on their porch lights, lock their doors and come outside to meet with neighbors in solidarity against crime. That first year, 2.5 million people in 400 communities in 23 states took part.

Concert-goers will be treated to a Free cook-out at the Time Warner Cable Party Plaza with live music provided by Rucca. Cookout will include a variety of Brats, Mets and Hot Dogs along with salads and all the fixins provided by Blue Grass Quality Meats and Kroger.

The Goo Goo Dolls have partnered with USA Harvest for their 2011 summer tour to help aid the homeless and the hungry. Non-perishable food donations will be collected at the Main Gate entrance (only) of PNC Pavilion between 5:00pm-6:30pm before the concert. Whoever donates the most items will win a meet & greet with the band.
