WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - The Character and Courage Foundation’s annual dinner will feature Johnny Bench and Pete Rose, among other baseball legends, on November 3.
The dinner, which is from 6-9 p.m. at the Savannah Center in West Chester, will celebrate the game of baseball and the dreams of children as attendees will hear stories from eight former Major League baseball players.
A ticket to the dinner will include light appetizers, dinner, beer and wine, dessert and an opportunity to bid on auction items. All proceeds from the event will go to impacting the lives of youth, who are either physically handicapped, diagnosed with a life threatening illness, or who live in impoverished areas, through baseball.
The Character and Courage Foundation will be honoring the former Major Leaguers for their performance on the field and the support of the Foundation.
